ONE CULTURE
The aim of the design was to create an iconic landmark that embodies the culture of Syria (Damascus) in multiple ways by integrating it into the urban context and surrounding nature. The experience within the building would be for no visible boundaries to be present. Continuous surfaces which twist and begin to form horizontal to vertical orientations that merge into floor plates and structural walls.
